EXPERIENCE Home Depot Quote Center, Core Services— Lead Developer AUGUST 2019 - PRESENT I run a team of engineers that maintain all core services for the supplier domain of the $2.5bn operation that is HDQC. We develop performant and resilient services that are consumed both in house and through the corporate gateways. We also design and deploy event driven systems for data processing. Beyond just writing code I lead architectural design discussions, draw lots of boxes with arrows on whiteboards, mentor junior developers, and run the machine learning guild. Technologies used: .NET Core, React, GCP, Kubernetes, Harness, Cassandra, Kafka, SQL Server, CircleCI Home Depot Quote Center, Project Rampage— Lead Developer & Machine Learning Guildmaster OCTOBER 2017 - August 2019 We were acquired by Home Depot, and my cofounder and I were given the task of recreating the Fasterbids experience as a millwork quoting solution for your neighborhood store. This involved coordinating teams in three states, and developing a suite of performant microservices. During this time I also took on a role as the guildmaster for the Machine Learning Guild, where we explored the productionization and real-time delivery of predictions at Home Depot scale. We went on to launch a mobile app, join 9Mile Labs accelerator in Seattle, raise a seed round, and grow to 50+ enterprise customers. Currently in use across 4 mine sites,, the app was used to execute over 30,000 mobile safety trainings in 2019.
